This retreat has been postponed indefinitely due to COVID 19.

A Special Celebration of The 15th Anniversary of Won Buddhism in North Carolina

October 8-12,2020 (Columbus Day Weekend)

At The Won Dharma Center in Claverack, NY

One of the most beautiful retreat centers in the world related to Won Buddhism

This really special retreat and mini-pilgrimage helps us mark our 15th anniversary in North Carolina.  Specifically for those who have been consistently practicing in our Temples for more than six months, we’re offering this wonderful and exclusive opportunity:

·        Expand your experience of Won Buddhism beyond the NC temples.  A way to experience American-embedded Korean Won Buddhism without traveling to Korea.

·        The sangha (community of practitioners) is one of the three Crown Jewels of Buddhism.  Celebrate and get to know more deeply your fellow practitioners in our own dharma community.

Relax in natural beauty situated on 426 acres of rolling hills and fields in the majestic Catskill Mountains.  The combination of serene indoor and outdoor practice spaces, cuisine from the garden, comfortable accommodations, and spiritual energy are all unique aspects of the Won Dharma Center To check out the Center, please click here: Won Dharma Center.

Reverends WonGong and Ginger will guide us through cultivating meditation, wisdom, and mindfulness as we also explore and enjoy noble silence.
