Frequently Asked Questions
What Is Won-Buddhism?
Won-Buddhism was founded in 1916 in Korea, when Grand Master Sotaesan achieved his great enlightenment. Conceived as a contemporary form of Buddhism, Won-Buddhism incorporates essential principles of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism. In our Temple, we practice different forms of meditation such as moving, chanting, sitting, and reflection on daily life, learning to cultivate "True Spirit, Wisdom, and Mindful Choice in Action".
What Time Is Meditation?
